Cyclone CY-A

For application ini ATEX zone 20/21/22. As coarse separator before filter units or as fan protection you can advantageously use a cyclone of the type CY-A. For high vacuum the type CY-V-A can be used.

Under normal circumstances CY.A will separate sufficiently for reduction of ATEX-zones with one step on clean air side.

Product Features

Polluted air enters unit through tangential inlet on cyclone side top.
Particles are separated by cyclone effect and fall down along cyclone side and are collected in dust container in unit buttom.
Dust container is suspended and emptied by Gram Quicklock-adjustable suspension.
The clean air is led out by connection in unit top.
Explosion membrane placed on unit inlet side.

Cyclone separator as pre-separator ensures better filter performance

For separation of certain material types/chips or at larger material volumes you can advantageously use a cyclone as pre-separator. Cyclones can either be placed close to the pollution source (hereby piping wear is reduced) or just before filter unit.

Through coarse separation by a cyclone the filter material load is reduced, whereby operating costs are lowered. Further it is possible to pre-separate heavier waste for recycling or safe disposal.
